Social distancing

It has been officially declared that the 1.5-meter distancing rule is no longer 

required in our country from September 25. This sign was spotted at the entrance 

of a nearby camping site, measuring the 1.5 meter distance in dolmens.

Poffertjes

This week the 'poffertjeskraam' was build up again on the central market square.

The temporary restaurant will be located here during the tourist season, serving a 

traditional Dutch treat called 'poffertjes': small fluffy pancakes, served with 

powdered sugar and butter. With our current Covid rules it is allowed

to be open between noon and 6 pm. (photo 5May21)

Dutch elections

Yesterday, as well as the 2 days before that, the general elections took place in 

the Netherlands to elect the members of the House of Representatives. Due to Covid-19 the 

government decided to open some polling stations 2 days in advance to ensure safe voting 

for elderly and people with medical high-risks. Citizens from 70 and older were also given

the chance to vote by post.
The Brinkhotel was one of the locations in Zuidlaren where people could vote.

The Dutch word 'stembureau' means 'polling place'. (photo 17Mar21)

Etalage winkelen

Tijdens de lockdown heeft deze kledingzaak 2x per week een nieuwe
etalage en hoopt dat mensen tijdens het etalage winkelen iets moois zien 
en het online bestellen. (foto 6jan21)

Deuren dicht / opties open

Ondanks dat de winkels gesloten zijn vanwege de lockdown kun je toch lokaal shoppen. 
Deze modezaak aan de Stationsweg komt bij je thuis met een gepersonaliseerd aanbod en/of

Testlocatie
