B&B

A wooden post along an unpaved road halfway Midlaren and Zuidlaren 

advertises for a B&B and is (most of all) meant for people walking the Pieterpad. 

This popular long distance walking route from the north of the Netherlands to the 

south, runs 498 km and passes Zuidlaren. (photo 22Jan21)

4 Mile track

Reaching the 5.0 km point of the 4 mile or 6.4 km long track 

on the Lentis Dennenoord area. The track can be done running, 

walking, or cycling, and is also accessible for wheelchairs.

Hiking trails

The Hondsrugpad-hiking trail that passes through Zuidlaren was recently
connected with the Hünenweg-hiking trail running mostly through Germany.
